People, numbers and learning are three passions in my life.
So my career has moved along these three dimensions. I am trained in Behavioural Science, Data Science and Higher Education and have managed projects and people at the intersection of technology and human cognition.
I believe in humility, active listening, competence-building and continuous improvement through empirical creativity. And I think that discipline, focus and perseverance are crucial elements of success.
Some essentials I need around me: my family, the sea, an Italian restaurant nearby, a good book and a dog.

Project Portfolio Management
It is my pleasure to recommend Etienne Douaze, a former colleague at Vinet College from 2006 to 2008. Etienne was immediately heavily involved at the school, teaching Mathematics, Science, English, Geography and IT to secondary and post-secondary students, He also took the role of cohort supervisor, following closely his students’ performance and progress. Etienne is an enthusiastic teacher who reaches his students with a blend of showmanship, strict discipline and tolerance towards their occasional emotional outbursts. He manages to build deep relationships with them, while maintaining the necessary distance between a professor and a student. He likes to innovate and has been involved with novel educational interventions and technologies when they were still in their infancy: podcasts in 2006, online learning management systems in 2007 and gamification in 2008, even teaching kick-boxing to a group of enthusiast teenagers for two years. Etienne was also involved at the school management level, completing an IT security audit of the school's computers after a virus attack and performing a statistical analysis of the school performance for upper management. He also successfully travelled with 15 years’ old students to Prague and Barcelona and brought them all back safe and sound. I think he was able to do all this in a relatively short period of time because of his capacity for prioritization and organization. Etienne is comfortable in a leadership position, planning, coordinating and organizing other people’s work, while maintaining a certain humility and a listening attitude. In summary, Etienne has the qualities that make a successful teacher and school administrator. He is dependable, highly motivated and in tune with the needs of students, their parents and the school's upper management. I highly recommend him for any teaching or school management position.
